I am asking for your vote so that I may continue working on a series of
projects that are vital to our community. There are several major challenges for
our court that I have been involved with that will be completed over the next
year. Those include our new family law annex which requires the coordination of
the courts in three buildings; the phasing of our new judge into our trial
schedule; the selection of a new director for our nationally recognized juvenile
court as our current director is retiring; and the expanding of our three drug
courts to better serve our community using the sales tax dedicated for drug
treatment. I have heard hundreds of jury trials, including two in the past
two years that have been a month in duration. I have been a state leader 
for the courts to improve the quality and funding for the courts, a role that
continues. I will continue to work for the highest standards for judiciary and I
ask for your support.
